Dhaka Chamber of Commerce and Industries (DCCI) is the largest and most active Chamber in Bangladesh, established in 1958, is a member of SUPER (Strengthening Urban Public-Private Programming for Earthquake Resilience) Consortium. inSights provided technical support to DCCI in developing the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for countries first Private sectors Emergency Operations Centres (PEOC) and the guideline of Private Sector Emergency Response Team (PERT). The collaborative partnership started in August 2021 with the purpose to operationalize PEOC to effectively play an active role as a resource centre for DRR capacity building for the private sector, and built its capacity to serve as a coordination point between the private sector and national-level stakeholders. PERT members enhanced their capacity to facilitate and lead drills, ensuring effective participation, coordination, and collaboration.
